Ann Pettifor leads the team as executive director, and liaises directly with clients, key opinion-formers and decision-makers. She develops advocacy strategies; oversees research and analysis to support advocacy; maintains high standards of professionalism and integrity; ensures delivery and results - while trying to keep clients and the team happy.
Jeremy Smith is a non-executive Director and Company Secretary of Advocacy International. He is Secretary-General of the Council of European Municipalities and Regions (CEMR), and uses his extensive experience of the law and of European and international affairs to advise the Advocacy International team.

Helen Kersley is a Research Fellow with Advocacy International. Her background is in the UK Treasury and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). By maintaining high standards of accuracy she helps ensure that we at AI get our facts and data right.

Jo Jamison Jo Jamison is Advocacy International’s Executive Assistant. As well as assisting Ann Pettifor, Jo uses her experience in radio and television production to help devise and produce relevant material through video, audio and Web 2.0.

Colin Roberts is European Advocacy Associate with Advocacy International. He has had extensive experience of government at local, national and international levels; and is well seasoned in political decision-making, in private enterprise and in relations with NGOs.
Angela Travis is chief Communications Associate. She was previously Head of Communications at Jubilee 2000, and has extensive experience of UN organisations, international NGOs and the international media.
Tomoo Machiba is Advocacy International's Japan Associate. He liaises directly with key opinion-formers and decision-makers in Japan, and ensures the accurate translation of key documents. He played a major role in Jubilee 2000, where he worked with Ann Pettifor.
